I agree. I simply must weigh in here. Just what was GEICO thinking? I not only mute, but I rush to mute, change the channel, and recommit myself to never ever doing business with Geico whenever I happen upon this commercial. It's not the pig that grates my last nerve - it's the gosh darn, anal high-pitched "weeee" of it. Who had a hand in this?!! Who let this pass as a coax-able bit of advertising time?
I hate this commercial. Hate. I mute when it comes on. I will seriously cancel my policy w/ them if they don't get rid of the annoying pig commercial. Soon.
I hate the pig commercials. They are so annoying!!!!! I tune it out/mute the sound when the pig comes on. Some of my friends do the same - mute the sound. The pig has got to go........Commercials are supposed to attract you to a product NOT turn you off. Worst commericals ever!!!
OMG! What HATERS!! How can you possibly hate a cute little pig who's having FUN!??? Are your hearts THAT BLACKENED W/Hate?!! SHEESH! I LOVE THiS Little Piggy!! He's so cute! DEFINITELY Gets my attention for what they're selling! AND I look forward to the next commercial WITH Little Piggy IN IT!!!
I have hooked up my tv to my bose acustic radio to figure out what he is saying. It is 1st Fear, adrendlin and then heart attack. Which makes sense. Fear causes adrendlin and then possibly heart attack.
These commercials make me want to sprint outside to the first living thing I see and just kill it. With my bare hands. Just start ripping whatever it is to pieces as if i'm some kind of flesh craving zombie.
I could understand liking these commercials if you are a prepubescent girl, but for those of us that are NOT prepubescent girls, these commercials are just terrible.
If I was the guy on the zip line and that pig came up on the other zip line screaming that weeeeee squeal, I would hope that I had a .45 ACP handy to just draw down on him in mid flight and switch him off permanently!!! That would be a great commercial...
My 7 month old baby loves this pig she will get up from taking a nap just 2 watch him, if I say wee wee wee she will look 4 him on the tv!! And I love it how can u notlove a pig with the little wind spinners in his hands! Hilarious def origional!
It makes me want to mute the TV and NOT buy their insurance just so they wont have the money to keep airing it. OBNOXIOUS just barely scratches the surface of this commercial base. MAKE IT STOP!!!!! Please!
LOVE THE PIG COMMERCIAL VERY FUNNY AND STICKS WITH YOU. BUT I THINK THE PIG TAKES TOO MUCH ATTENTION FROM THE ACTUAL REASON FOR THE AD... GIECO. DIDNT KNOW WHAT THE PURPOSE WAS JUST LIKED THE PIG SO I AGREE BAD ADVERTISING.
Geico ad marketing is missing the money-point on this if they dump the pig. Hello???It's generating talk and product recognition...whether you love the pig or hate it. That IS what advertising is all about isn't it? Can't tell you how many people I've run into in many, many different states who are either doing, recognizing, laughing at, hating, etc. The Pig and more importantly for Geico....knowing that the Pig commercial is for Geico. Wake up Geico and give those ad dudes a raise and Bring Back The Pig!!!
I love the geico piggy commercials and am very upset that they replaced them with the stupid juice drink ad. I've always admired Geiko's commercials, but the drink test one is a real dud. myachingpatootie
