  3. They have NEVER responded to a single message left through their customer service e-mail portal on their site. Horrible security, too. A guy I was dating was able to cancel my subscription and I lost all of the money. Zoosk won't let you retrieve your previous subscription even if there are months left on the account!!!! They make you pay for it all over again.

  6. This is another rip off. I paid through to July 2011. Met some one and didn't want to keep getting emails, wanted to focus on the new relationship. So I deactivated it. Well the new relationship didn't work out and I wanted to go back in and reactivate it since I was paid up until July. No can do, you can not reactivate it and they actually expect you to pay again. Stay away from this site.

  7. The new Boost feature on Zoosk is a scam. You can go through £20.00 in less than 30 minutes! Thats means, to use the boost featuire just once a week for 30 mins, you would go through £80 a month for just two hours worth. Thats right! And guess what for that you get a couple of visits to your profile! Zoosk is more like a Social Network, nothing else.

  8. What a scam ... you get a view and not only do you have to pay to email(which is the normal for most sites)but you have to pay to view profiles ... whats the use in paying if you cant browse, and view the ones interested in you. my conclusion would be that the ones that they are saying are viewing your profile are fakes and they are just trying to get your money.

  9. I would like to know why I cannot announce on my profile page that I am a paying member. I was not aware of this when I paid out almost $80. And why is it that if I send a message to a nonpaying member with my email information, my email and other contact info is removed?? I also was not aware of this. I decided to PAY to be a “subscriber” so I could communicate with other members whether they were paying or not. Could Zoosk really be that greedy? This is a scam to get one member to pay, send a message to another member who cannot read or chat because Zoosk wants them to pay too! How do you expect the Zoosk dating site to work for people who are sincerely interested in finding a meaningful, long term relationship?!? Guy’s, I can quickly see a class action in Zoosk’s near future.

So too sum this up, basically I’m paying $80 to only be able to talk / message / chat with other Zoosk PAYING members!?! I was not aware of these polices when I paid. I figured this is a dating site, you pay, and you get to communicate with other members whether they paid or not… I PAID so I should be able to give my contact information if I want too! In fact, I’m an adult and, as a paying member, I should be able to put my email info right in my profile if I so choose! I really believe this (Zoosk) is a scam!
